Those who espouse such an etiolated (and mostly human-oriented) idea 
of "worship" that they cannot and do not distinguish worshiping God 
from venerating holy people, places, and things will inevitably 
misunderstand the Orthodox veneration of Saints and
of icons and then falsely accuse the Orthodox of
false "worship"--though veneration is not
