THIS ISLAND, "THE ORCHID ISLE," SOUTHERNMOST OF THE HAWAI'IAN ISLANDS, HAS THE EARTH'S MOST ACTIVE (LONGEST-FLOWING) VOLCANO, ONE OF WHOSE CRATERS IS SAID TO BE THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD; BUT THE OCCASIONAL EARTHQUAKES CAUSED BY IT ARE UNLIKE THE DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKES DUE TO THE VIOLENT CLASHING OF EARTH PLATES THAT OCCUR IN OTHER PARTS OF THE EARTH

Please teach children to lower fingers when going to pat a pet and not
to pick them up the way I am holding Benjy in the photograph;
picking a pet up that way can cause dysplasia of the shoulders!
