THE LIVING ROOM
Above on the left, you are looking toward the fireplace (the hood over the grill in the grillroom is visible on the right). The two photographs on the right show the living room as you look in the opposite direction, toward the front door beyond the bookcase; in the lower one, you see Matey. Low bookcases (on one side, buffets on the other side) separate the living room, from the grill room and it from the library. The chimney, with two fireplaces and grill, stands in the center of these three rooms and the kitchen. In the lower left corner are pictures over the mantle: a beauty I got in Bali (with faces, since the people at not Muslims), a Watanabe silkscreen of the Theotokos with the three Magi kneeling around her, and an etching by Henry Moore (he painted each one individually) that I got years ago when I was a graduate student at the University of Cambridge in England.
